Where`s Rufus Sports Bar in Tyler

My brother and I went there to drink a beer and play pool.never been there first impression what a dump went to the bar order a 2 budlights $ 9.25 this was at 4 o'clock.there pool tables were in bad condition.played 2games and left. What A JOKE OF A BUSINESS AND BAR NEEDS A REMOLDING.!!!!!!

The inside is one of the dirtiest bars around, especially the restrooms, which stink beyond belief. A little chlorine would do them well. And preventing standing puddles of piss on the floor would be nice.I've had many friends complain about the bartenders overcharging their tab. My advice is to only pay cash at this bar, or charge to your tab at your own risk.Tuesdays have religiously been the night to go here with cheap drinks and a good crowd. The patio is where it is at though, and is pretty good if anyone is there.

Where's Rufus is a perfect name if the bartenders name is Rufus. He never once asked if we needed anything, he was rude and more interested in talking to his friends at the bar. The place smelled like a dirty mop bucket and the pizza was cold. The place is a dump.

This is hands down the best bar in town. You always feel welcomed by the staff. The food is very good! Just hands down a great place.

10 years ago I went I to this place the day it opened. I have so many great and not so great memories. A lot of loves created and lost. Ton of bar fights and crazy drama. It's was a place of finding friends and lifelong changes . It will be greatly missed by Tyler 2000s teens. ❤️❤️❤️

DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD! This bar puts up too an $85 hold on your card and claim after calling to find out why there's 3 charges on your card separate from your actual tab their response is that it's common practice. This is not a common practice, I have been a bartender for over 25yrs and have never put a hold on someone's card nor have I ever heard of this! even if you attempt to justify this it should be a posted policy as well as informing the customer the moment they hand you their card! it's also apparent from all of the negative reviews this is not done to every customer! it's a pick & choose practice! Horrible policy for a mediocre bar! After several days there is still money being held on my account!!

Friendly people and great pizza

Music was to loud pool tables and sticks bbn in need off an update but a good place to end the evening.

Whenever my wife and I visit my parents in Tyler, we make sure to visit Where's Rufus. We love the atmosphere, and staff. This bar hits most of my checks for a bar: Well poured drinks, cheep beer specials, great bar fare, and friendly people. This place has become our regular Tyler haunt.

The staff charged my card 3 different times. Totaling $85 dollars. I was there a little over an hour. Complete and total thrives! Don't ever step foot in this place!!! Calling my lawyer on monday..

I had a good time here but mostly because of the group I was with. The waitress was nice enough but it did feel a bit trashy overall - both people and the establishment itself. Tables and menus were sticky and obviously a little old. But they had a fun environment and the patio area is cool too.

Where's Rufus is a great place to go for cold beers, good people and goofy times. This bar has had its ups and downs, but is still going strong. Owner Shawn Galbraith has made sure that all of us are still seen as not only customers, but family over the years. Him and his wife Sherie are stellar people. Where's rufus has pool tables, Golden Tee, Dart League, cornhole league, shuffleboard and around 20 or more inside TVs. As well as back patio and decking with fire pits and 4-6 more large TVs. Good place to watch the game, take down some shots, or even just go havr a drink and chill. Love these guys.

Favorite bar in Tyler! Would have date night twice a month here. Great drinks and prices! Variety of people from different backgrounds. So its comfortable and fun for anyone!

Cold beer but they charge 4.75 a beer. Crazy
